Janney Capital thinks a successful deal by Flower Foods (FLO) to acquire some key Hostess brands out of bankruptcy would help it move into the Midwest and West parts of the country where it could leverage existing food-service relationships. Since the fall of Hostess, Flowers has already added 160 basis points in fresh bread and rolls dollar share, a level which could add $0.14 a share to earnings on an annual basis.
