Expects 2013 revenue of $16B-$16.5B and EPS of $2.70-$2.75, in-line with consensus of $16.3B and $2.74.  PayPal revenue and payment volumes each +24% Y/Y (up from +23% and +20% in Q3). PayPal active accounts +15% to 123M. Marketplaces revenue and GMV (exc. vehicles) each +16% (up from +9% and +11%) and fueled by U.S./mobile growth. GSI unit +10% (+12% in Q3).  EBAY +0.5% AH.     explains how the fall in profits was just because the profits of the same quarter in 2011 were inflated by the sale of Skype.

    I see the mention of Skype in that link, u01, but the lack of any metric makes the "explains" part hard to get.

    well the proceeds of the sale of skype would have gone into their profits, so last year would have looked like they had made a crazy high number for profit compared to usual.
