YouTube (GOOG) has agreed to buy a minority stake in top music video site Vevo, AllThingsD's Peter Kafka reports, though he adds a deal isn't finalized. The NY Post reported last May Vevo, which drives plenty of YouTube traffic through an existing partnership, was talking with both Google and Facebook about an investment. YouTube is already pouring hundreds of millions into professional content investments, spending that generally seems to be paying off.
