In my IRA portfolio I have a reasonable amount of PFE 750 shares , and in my PHARMA ETF,(PPH), PFE is 9.98 % of the portfolio. Does anyone know if I'll get any Zoetis (ZTS) in the IPO ?
As I'm a long time holder of PFE, I won't be selling anytime soon, but I just was wondering.
    Thanks in advance

You will not get any shares of ZTS because you own PFE. PFE is selling these stocks to make money (I hear, to buy back shares to raise its price). However, since PFE retained 80% of ZTS ownership, a controlling interest, you will benefit through PFE through ZTS's price appreciation and their dividends in book value and EPS.

Thanx for the information. It looks like 2000 when PFE took out Pharmacia & with the merger I'll get the results of their good works. (we Hope).
