8 months ago, RIMM was being universally and rightfully trashed. But, they did ignore the analysts on some items. They put all of their efforts into getting the next phone right. Yes, they put current sales at risk. But a not quite me, too device would have undermined the future. They ignored the alligators and drained the swamp. Since then, they seem to have executed on hardware, software, marketing, carrier channel stroking, app developer incentives. If they get a good start out the gate, the momentum should drag the rest along.

If the signal strength and battery level were switch, it looks like an iPhone.
Very revolutionary. Will they be cutting edge like apple (sarcasm there) and offer a larger screen for their next phone?

I read in a couple of articles that the screen was slightly larger than the iPhone, and the resolution is true HD.

All the positive comments on this post seem to ignore that the BB10 would apparently be sold at a subsidized price. Anyone took a look at the recent share price of RIMM? Took a dive. I am long RIMM, but this recent sell off helped me unwind some call spreads. Not the best time to add to a position now. I'd wait for the stock to stabilize in the $16 range before getting in.

This is RIM's mobile platform for the future.
This isn't a short term spike but the beginnings of a long rise back.
I deal with people that work at RIM. I have never heard them be so excited about the future.
I have spoken to people that have been using this new OS. They love it, and say there is nothing like it out there.
    Combine that with RIM's security.
When a company has taken everything that the media can throw at it, and still has 80 million customers and 3 billion dollars......I would bet on them coming back.

So tomorrow is the launch date. See how that goes. If not as good as expected, sell. If sold out in few hours, buy.
