Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (MSO +8.4%) could be worth $551M in a potential sale, according to one estimate. At $10/share, that would be more than twice Thursday’s close, but nowhere near the $1.87B the company was worth in February 2005 before its namesake and founder was sent to jail.

    Just the reminder. She was sent to jail for few hundred of Imclone shares.

    Martha Stewart Omnimedia isn't worth anything near $550 million. The company has lost money in 7 of the last 8 years, Martha is 69 years old and not only can't recapture her one-time popularity but is likely more interested in retiring from her current responsibilities before it goes bankrupt.
