Sony (SNE) will have to pay a £250K ($396K) penalty in the U.K. for failing to prevent a cyberattack on its PlayStation Network which compromised the personal information of users of the gaming console service. A British regulator called the incident one of the most serious data breaches it has handled.

    Never understood why MSFT does not have liability for selling super buggie software, and then proviing some IV protection.

     

    Isn't that admittance of guilt?
