Dell (DELL +1.4%) is shopping for a networking equipment company, Canaccord's Paul Mansky speculates, betting on Brocade (BRCD +5.9%) as the most likely target. There are no real alternatives in the space, and Brocade’s Fibre Channel business "should be an attractive cash engine for at least five years." Mansky thinks Dell could pay as much as $10/share for the company; it's now ~$7.

How about CISCO, but I guess DELL does not have that kind of cash.

The BRCD Company is interesting for HPQ, ORCL, DELL and CSCO.

BRCD fills different niche product segment for these 4 companies, if one of the companies buy BRCD, then it will be a blow to the other 3 companies.
