If I am behind on my house payment with no hope of ever increasing my income or reconciling my other debts, the extension of my loan will do nothing to help me out of my situation. Only if Greece does something constructive to improve their economy and finances will an "extension" help them out....otherwise its just a delay tactic.

Same old game of extend and pretend - hoping, yet again, that things will turn out different after bail-out #3. Doomed to failure and the very definition of insanity.

So if Europe succeeds is 'saving' Greece, who can they next point to in order to stop the Euro's inexorable rise against the dollar when next it hits $1.50?

Looks like lipstick on a pig (or PIIG). Like lipstick, it will fade soon.
