John Kerry and his wife are divesting their ~$750K holdings in Suncor (SU) and other investments in an effort to avoid conflicts of interest as he prepares to become the next U.S. secretary of state. SU's CEO is among those who have urged Pres. Obama to greenlight the Keystone (TRP) pipeline, but Kerry’s longtime devotion to environmental issues is making pipeline proponents nervous.

An environmentalist with a major position in SU, eh? Quite an endorsement of SU and an insight into how the wealthy play both ends of the deal :-)

They don't have to divest - they just put it in a blind trust.
What a joke - like he doesn't have any friends that might benefit from his influence/decisions. Anyone really surprised he is a hypocrite given his history?

That should read..... with a long time finger in the wind. As a Viet-nam veteran I find this individual to be disgusting. What kind of a leach would try to take credit as a hero when he whined for three purple hearts for splinters that got him shipped home after a few months in country as other brave men were fighting and dying and making every manner of sacrifice. Now he is whining that he got swift boated. He swift boated himself with his lies. Arrrrrgh!

This "man" is a gutless, sychophantic, hypocrite who has lived off the backs of the taxpayer for far too long. As a former Marine, I find him a disgrace to any uniform and unfit for service as a congressional page, much less SoS.
    Oh yeah, long TRP.

As i recall there were a bunch of former swift boat sailors who weren't too proud of him either. If he's getting out of SU might be a good time to get in.
