Calling 2012 the year of the "relaunching of the euro," ECB chief Mario Draghi makes upbeat comments at Davos. "The level of economic activity is in the process of stabilizing at very low levels and we foresee a recovery in the second part of the year," Draghi says." Along with increasing German business optimism, the comments help send the euro to an 11-month high of $1.3451. It's now +0.4% at $1.3432.

"ECB chief Mario Draghi makes upbeat comments at Davos."

He'd be a very bad ECB chieft if he ever made downbeat comments.

Rather like a used-car salesman telling you "...you need to steer clear of that one--it's a lemon and I haven't been able to get anybody interested in it."
