ResMed (RMD +4.8%) moves up this morning after its FQ2 easily topped estimates late yesterday. Net earnings rose 24% Y/Y as the respiratory-device maker's revenue jumped, particularly in its Americas segment where it posted a 16% jump in sales, while revenue outside the Americas increased 10%. The better sales masked an increase in overall expenses for the quarter, with SG&A costs moving up 7%, largely due to a ramp-of its sales force, and R&D expenses rising by 11%.
