"No one is growing," says a NYC commercial broker. Of the activity in the rental market most is just financial firms shuffling about to new space, not adding space. The latest are BofA and AXA Equitable, between them vacating 630K square feet near midtown. 23M square feet was leased in 2012, down from more than 30M a year ago.
