SBUX environ stmt: "And as people living in the world, it is simply the right thing to do." It will be interesting how SBUX justifies a drive-thru, while most jurisdictions are leaning toward banning them or limiting idling time, especially in urban areas struggling to meet air quality requirements. It most cases it is quicker to walk in and get your cup, rather than sitting in a line of cars waiting for a Skinny Caramel Macchiato, or even longer for a Clover brewed cup of Costa Rica Finca Palmilera...not to mention benefit of walking a few steps.
