The dip this morning is due to Lenovo's clarification that they aren't pursuing RIM as an acquisition target.

Anybody who paid attention to Lenovo's CTO's comments last week would have known he just made a casual, unguarded mention of RIM, not that they were serious.

But Thund, wasn't that evident to most people? A manufacturing deal, maybe, but no way an acquisition!

Hoping the drop is just those deciding to take profits early and not wanting to risk reaction to Wednesday announcement. I'm staying in through the announcement and will watch closely once it's made.

    What?
Do people think that the phones are not going to be great after all the amazing reviews?

Look at the phone and OS. It's awesome.
Why else would Apples stock be going down?

Everyone that is long RIMM should be on their toes the next few days and watch this stock like a hawk. Today's $1.30 dip was very surprising. Today's clarification by Lenovo should not have caused the stock to spike down like it did. Be prepared for extra artillery to be hitting this thing from all angles starting tomorrow. Also, the Apple loving tech press will be at it BIG TIME.

Somebody dumped 12 million shares at 10am today trying to crash the stock, or just take their profits. Look for a bounceback tomorrow.
