More on RIM/BlackBerry: Thorsten Heins has told the WSJ the Z10 will be available in the U.K. and Canada this week, but won't arrive in the U.S. until mid-March due to carrier testing needs. In Canada, the Z10 will sell for C$150 with a 3-year contract, and a hefty C$600 unsubsidized. Meanwhile, RIM is showing off BB10's feature set (much of it already disclosed/leaked) at its event. Highlights include BlackBerry Balance, Hub, and Flow, and a keyboard with gesture controls. Shares -4.6%. (live blog) Update: Verizon says it will sell the Z10 for $200 with a 2-year contract.

The phone batteries won't last that long: 3 yrs.
Philosophy of 2 yrs is better; besides, the internet charges alone will finance the cost reduction.
