Google (GOOG) has submitted a proposal to the EU that's "quite similar" to the one it agreed to with the FTC, AllThingsD reports. Unlike the FTC deal, any Google settlement with the EU is unlikely to cover its use of standards-essential patents, but will reportedly feature instructions on the labeling of its search results (presumably to make sure links to Google services stand out).
