Canada's National Energy Board approves a liquefied natural gas export license for Royal Dutch Shell's (RDS.A, RDS.B) planned export plant on British Columbia's Pacific coast, giving the OK for exports of up to 670M metric tons of LNG over 25 years. Although several LNG plants have been proposed for the coastline, the license is only the third given out by the Canadian energy regulator.
