News Corp. (NWSA) hopes to close a deal for the sale of Myspace by Thursday. Specific Media - an ad network - and Golden Gate Capital - a PE firm - look to be the frontrunners for the purchase, with a price in the $20-$30M range. News Corp. bought Myspace in 2005 for $580M.
