Home asking prices rose 0.3% in the quarter ended in January, according to Trulia. The gain is of note because it is not seasonally adjusted and prices typically fall during this period. Seasonally adjusted, prices rose 2.2% Q/Q and 0.9% on the month - the strongest gain since home prices turned upward. Lots of supply coming online has rent gains slowing to 4.1% from 4.7%.
