Doesn't make sense why it's down so much when it should be up. Seems like there are lots more short-sellers at play than anticipated. Must be GMCR's competitors, who want to see it down and out. Those who're long like me, should hold it together and ride out the storm, because stocks with good results cannot dip in price and GMCR should recover eventually. It was momentarily above $50 for less than a minute before it went up and down. Guess supporters lost out to detractors. Let's see what happens tomorrow. It could go worse if guided by the after-market's reaction or it could turn around if guided by the results.

Yes, GMCR had a terrific quarter, especially considering all of the doomsayers about competition from Starbucks, patents expiring, private label K-cups, etc. I was in a Shoprite supermarket last week and they had a sign at the customer service desk indicating all of the Shoprite K-cups were being recalled.

I think it was just a matter of selling the news after a double plus in the stock price. GMCR has stood up to the competition and has prevailed. Growth is still the rallying cheer for this company.

I have seen selling on good Qtly. reports. But selling after the end of the day? The stock will be cheap on the open but I think the volume will be low tomorrow. The price might be lower. Who knows?

It went up and down in a flash (momentarily above $50), within a minute I believe. I saw my cash register ringing crazily for a few minutes, everytime it went back up. Eventually, it stayed quiet, until towards the end, when it ticked upwards and recovered about $2, after going down some $6. This morning, it went down less than a dollar and SEC put a short sale restriction after market opened because they too recognized short-sellers are at play, particularly when results are good all round. Thankfully, some employees of SEC may have been long on GMCR and they took notice of the sudden ups and downs. Each time, the bears took it down, some bulls joined in to bring it up but unfortunately, most of the bulls had taken a late hibernation for the winter. When they come back from their slumber, they will come roaring back, I believe.
