Electronic Arts' (EA) Chillingo mobile game publishing unit has scored a deal to handle game-publishing for Samsung's (SSNLF.PK) Android app store. In an effort to take share from Google Play (and lessen its dependence on Google a little), Samsung will let developers keep 100% of revenue for the first 6 months their app is available, with Samsung's cut gradually rising to a standard 30% after 2 years. EA's mobile revenue rose 19% Y/Y in the December quarter, but only accounted for 8% of total sales.
