Nouriel Roubini (a.k.a. "Dr. Doom") sees moderate growth for the U.S. in the short-term, but expects a "perfect storm" to hit the global economy in 2013, as the U.S. and Europe are no longer able to "push their [debt-related] problems into the future." Roubini also sees China's attempts to reduce inflation hurting global growth and commodity prices.

Are you serious pal? Can't you just shut the f... Up for a while, Hugh? You know what they say Nouriel, "Opinions are like, I'll be kind here, noses, everyone has one", I really wanted to say a.. Holes, your flip flopping all over the place is getting boring.

I say we are looking at the crash of all time soon. Deleveraging needs and will be achieved, no two ways about it. If you went back 5 years and said our world wide economic system would look the way it does today and the primary players who caused it would still be in power, you'd be locked away at the insane asylum!

It's a mad house, a mad house.... Great line from the original Planet of the Apes, along with,"Man's brilliance must walk hand in hand with his stupidity"......

I am sorry for NYU. He should not be teaching financial. At least one good thing with guy is that he is perma bear. On the other hand, his sister Meredith Whitney is totally idiot. She has no clue. SEC should investigate her for her fiasco regarding bond market.

I like Roubini - he is a great contrarian indicator. When he talks doom and gloom in Public media (and the market is already beaten up)- get long.

When he makes optimistic statements ("moderate growth for the U.S. in the short-term" being optmistic by his standards) - get short
