A massive snowstorm bearing down on New England is driving consumers in droves to stock up on supplies, according to regional reports. Sales could pick up at Walgreen (WAG +0.5%), Wal-Mart (WMT), Kroger (KR +0.4%), and Safeway (SWY +0.1%) as consumers overstock for the weekend blizzard. On the flip side, Dunkin' Brands (DNKN +1.2%) could see a dip in February traffic due to its high concentration in the Northeast.

    Not a good investment strategy to think that a few feet of snow will keep New Englanders from making their way to Dunks throughout the weekend. In fact, it may increase traffic. Just my $.02
