Dish Network (DISH -1.5%) receives court approval to acquire bankrupt Terrestar Networks for $1.4B, adding to earlier bankruptcy acquisitions of DBSD for $1.4B and Blockbuster for $321M. The firm appears to be taking dead aim at Netflix (NFLX -0.9%) with its buying spree, and a jump into the rent-by-mail business.
