iSuppli claims the HTC Thunderbolt, which has sold well through Verizon (NYSE:VZ), carries the highest component cost of any phone it's analyzed. Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) probably isn't bothered - based on iSuppli's data, there's likely over $60 worth of Qualcomm 3G and 4G chips inside each unit. Qualcomm also collects a hefty royalty on each unit sale.
