Toshiba (TOSBF.PK), which controls over 35% of the NAND flash memory market, claims flash sales were weaker than expected in Q2 due to a slowdown in gadget demand. Toshiba expects a second-half improvement, which would be welcome news for Sandisk (SNDK) and Micron (MU), who are coping with declining flash prices.
