    Why so much printing for another round ?

    QE1 = fail

    QE2 = fail

    QE3 = will be a fail.

    Debt bomb just getting much worse...

    only ones to make profits is the rich and stock markets.

    He has really no clue Ben Bernanke!

    I'm with Mr. Sqwii on this. We've already learned the lesson of Prosperity through the Fed. Mr. Bernanke has a job and it's understandable he wants to keep it, but who is out there expecting a job because of what Bernanke does?

    Once again the Fed is only concerned with the market. Show me where this QE3 will help create jobs. Will the Fed send the money toward helping small businesses or only to buy more wall street profit.
    This recession will go on for years. Will they continue to print money in each of those quarters too? Rich are getting richer and the middle class is going away.

    non stop lying and double talk

    on the one hand he touts the recovery and improvement, on the other
    things are so weak, QE3 has to be considered and there will be zero interest rates (for the donor banks only) forever

    Those who have power in the congress for sure dont want to stop QE - things will get SO much worse without QE... they dont like to wake up to reality , but instead live with the heroin everyday. They will earn big money on it and thats human nature - who wont earn some big $$$ on poor people if they had the power to do so.

    There is not much to do when those in power is corrupt.

    The only chance we have of containing the Fed in the short-term is to prevent raising the debt limit. The Fed's hands will be tied. Sure, they could attempt to buy bad debts, but I suspect they won't want to do too much of that. They want to buy US Treasuries where debt can be directly monetized. The Fed cannot lower short-term interest rates from 0.xx%, so that won't work.

    Everyone contact your Congress-members and tell them to vote against anything that raises the Federal debt limits. That is the ONLY way to contain the Federal Reserve monetary policy without actually abolishing them.
