The news cycle isn't playing any favors for Carnival (CCL +1.2%) as its disabled ship dramatically meanders across the Gulf of Mexico with passengers using social media accounts to graphically describe the dirty and unsanitary conditions of the vessel. Though CCL bulls maintain the mishap is no big deal, Wells Fargo warns the incident could end up costing the company close to $80M in lost revenue, repair costs, and reimbursements.

Customer service at it's finest! meanwhile the stock charges towards 52 week highs... surely this is a healthy market!?

we have taken 15 cruises on carnival. this summer will be our 16th. yes, this is an absolute horror. however, i have faith in carnival. they will make this right. i think if any of the passengers are thinking of suing , they might want to think again . carnivals cruise ships are not registered in america. just one is and that is in hawaii. so they might want to think it through. i feel terrible for these people. it is just awful.
they must be made of iron.
however, this will not deter us from our cruise this summer.
i just hope and pray they are all ok and land safely.
