Antitrust experts see routes which include Washington, Charlotte, and Dallas as potential markets where concessions may need to occur to get AMR (AAMRQ.PK) and US Airways (LCC) to the finish line in their $11B merger. When the deal gets done,  the combined airline should see lower unit costs and attractive synergies even with the concessions it gives up.

Washington National maybe, DFW plenty of open gates from the old Delta hub, CLT a few open gates available. Only 12 overlapping routes so the antitrust guys need to let this happpen with only very minor requirements
