Talisman Energy (TLM +2.1%) marches higher despite missing analyst expectations for earnings and revenue and reporting flat production averaging 426K boe/day in Q4, as at least it returned to profit, fueled by gains related to asset sales. Cash flow, a glimpse into its ability to fund drilling, was $675M ($0.66/share), down from $824M ($0.81/share) a year earlier.
