Sources say beleaguered News Corp. (NWS) is thinking of elevating chief operating officer Chase Carey to succeed Murdoch as CEO. The decision rests at least partly on Murdoch's performance today in front of the U.K.'s parliament, as execs who have seen Murdoch rehearse for his grilling had concerns about the way he handled practice questions.
