The Treasury sells $16B in 30-year bonds at 3.18%, the second straight month with over-3% yield. Bid-to-cover ratio of 2.74, vs. a recent average of 2.63; indirect bidders take 36.4%, vs. a recent 35.3%. Direct bidders take 14.5%, vs. a recent 15.7%.

    This whole description is a farce.Treasury sold nothing...no one "bought"...the Fed will own it all in two weeks...what market....its just a show now....I wonder how the participants feel when they do this....they have to feel a little cheezy
