Icahn is going to teach Ackman a lesson. From the 13D: "The Reporting Persons have conducted significant analysis with respect to the Issuer. The Reporting Persons have concluded that the Company has a legitimate business model, with favorable long-term opportunities for growth. The Reporting Persons intend to have discussions with management of the Issuer regarding the business and strategic alternatives to enhance shareholder value, such as a recapitalization or a going-private transaction."

Loeb and Icahn own over 20%.
If HLF buys aggressively and few others pile in it will be ugly for Mr. A
What is fascinating is how different the viewpoints are.
Right now the best Ackman can hope for is a substantive investigation by some agency or other.
    The business is roaring.

I am long NUS which I have delved into and has a better functioning and more transparent sales model than HLF. Also growing faster. Still HLF is not a bad company.
