Apache (APA -2.8%) says a relief rig is en route to the location of an offshore Louisiana well where natural gas may have been flowing underground for more than a week. The well is shut in and blowout preventers are functioning properly, but testing had detected an underground migration of gas from the bottom of the well.

    You make your own breaks. Low nat gas prices and their exposure to Egypt have done these guys in, they went on an acquisition binge at the wrong time. Here the market is at all time highs and APA is near 52 week lows, where is Carl Icahn when you need him.

    these guys have been responsible for shares dropping almost 50% sincre 2007 highs. All the while the CEO makes $15mm/year. For what? Bootem out and sell the ball of wax. Worst CEO in the industry
