In the midst of a torrid run for private equity - BX, KKR, FIG, we'll throw in OAK as well - Blackstone President Tony James unloaded 31% of his stake in the firm last week for about $64M. On this month's earnings call, Blackstone CEO Schwarzman was unable to contain his enthusiasm for the company's prospects.

    Hmmmmm. If it is happening, it has been a long wait for IPO people like me who have been existing on averaging down. Second largest single purchase was at 6 or so. They have been stockpiling deals for years now. The dividend experience over the next five years may get very sweet.
