EU national privacy regulators want to coordinate a "repressive action" against Google (GOOG) after it failed to provide "precise and effective" answers to the authorities' warnings about its treatment of user data, which France says breaches EU law. The country's regulator, CNIL, says it's too early to say what action might be taken, although any fines look like they'll be fairly small.
