Senate hearings on the JPMorgan (JPM) "London Whale" loss may be coming soon, according to the WSJ, which says Sen. Carl Levin is weighing the idea. Jamie Dimon was already subject to a public grilling over the matter shortly after its disclosure last May.

Please save the taxpayers money on another Dog and Pony Show.
Mr. Dimon will not shed any new light on the London Whale mess and quite frankly, this is between JPM and its shareholders, of which I am not.
Time for the Senators to look in the mirror and come to grips with the financial abuses that occur every day within the government. Most Senators will not see a reflection in the mirror, but this is another story.

While the Senate is at, it why don't they grill Dimon the mid-night raid at WAMU with collusion and abatement of the FDIC? Then, grill the FDIC for its turgid record of stealing solvent banks. Oh ! And don't forget to get a full accounting on the theft of the Anchor Litigation which was awarded damages from the FDIC, and which was neatly wrapped into the WAMU/JPMC takeover in order not to execute restitution!

Great ideas. No doubt the Senate could find out a whole lot of information if only they actually cared to find it out. Jamie Dimon won't be asked anything pressing because nobody in the Senate really wants to know what goes on at JPM or any other "too big to fail" bank.

How great would it be to be able to ask this guy question and have the authority to get answers?

Bring Jon Corzine to the next Dog and Pony Show. He still hasn't answered questions from his visit to the Senate.

What a waste of time and taxpayer money.
