Though still a small part of Amazon.com's (AMZN) business, the company's Web services division (AWS) is growing quickly, thanks to its scalable infrastructure and "pay as you go" pricing. JPMorgan sees AWS reaching $2.6B in revenues by 2015, while Cowen previously estimated $4B by 2016. Amazon reports earnings tomorrow.

    Its the main reason I can think of why their valuation is sky high (if you believe there is some rationality behind their valuation). If Google has any real competition in the future it may be from Amazon for web infrastructure customers.
