U.S. automaker Fisker is considering bids from Chinese companies which would give up majority control for an investment of between $200M and $300M. The effort to sell to a Chinese concern is largely due to the confluence of two large trends - 1) Soft response in the U.S. with Tesla Motors (TSLA -1.8%) stealing the show. 2) Raised interest in China on extended plug-in hybrid technology due to historic levels of pollution.
