A report from Allot Communications (ALLT) claims mobile data usage grew 77% in the past year. Google's (GOOG) YouTube accounted for 22% of all mobile usage by itself, highlighting the strain video streaming puts on mobile networks. In addition to Allot, Juniper (JNPR) and F5 (FFIV) have been aggressively targeting mobile carriers with their data networking solutions.

The growth in data is great for F5 and JNPR but not that good for netflix. The growth encourages carriers to put a cap on the bandwidth usage.
