J.C. Penney (NYSE:JCP) is in the process of eliminating up to 10% of its workforce at its headquarters in Texas this week, according to some reports. Execs with the retailer have been rather cryptic on how many jobs the company plans to slash in total as it struggles to regain lost sales.
