Intel (INTC) doesn't plan on allowing ARM Holdings-based (ARMH) CPU designs to take market share without a fight: the company thinks 40% of laptops by the end of 2012 could be based on its Ultrabook concept for thin-and-light systems, and it believes its Haswell chips (arriving in 2014) will consume half the power of today's products.
