Prior to the management shakeup, Miller Tabak had downgraded Rosetta Resources (ROSE -6.4%) to Sell from Hold, citing a short-term spike in oil production at the Eagle Ford's Karnes Trough which should peak in Q1. Without an acquisition of more oil acreage, the firm says ROSE will be forced to focus on its acreage in liquids amid continued weakness in NGL and natural gas pricing.
