Cisco (CSCO) may be conducting layoffs, but it's happy to hire six executives from rival Juniper (JNPR), including Juniper's service provider sales chief for the Americas. Cisco and Juniper have a near-duopoly in the market for high-end (i.e. "core") routers for service providers, and are also fierce competitors in several other markets.

    If we were in a QE environment, stock would be jumping huge tomorrow. Secondly, wonder if Juniper files a lawsuit over it.
