Gambling revenue in Macau rose 12% Y/Y in February, topping the estimate of most analysts during the critical New Year holiday period. Increasingly, casinos operating in the region (MPEL, LVS, WYNN, MGM) have been getting a lift from the mass market segment.

i'm surprised the gaming stocks are not rallying with this info. considering 2 wks ago Nomura came out w report that growth will be in the low single digits and the gaming stocks took a hit.

$AERL a junket operator should profit from it. Low P/E stock with a nice dividend yield.

Asia Entertainment & Resources (AERL) seems at a low. http://yhoo.it/MF2Cjy;c=
But do they expect to make a profit next quarter?

Good to know. 95% of small Chinese reverse mergers fail.

On the side, what do you think about (XIN)?

It looks like LVS has been doing well since Adelson has left the scene.

With the emergence of online gaming, I hope that LVS will be well prepared to adapt.

This is a very positive development and is proving that Sheldon's massive bet 8yrs ago (no pun intended) on the Cotai strip area is definitely paying off.
Most encouraging is growth in non-VIP visitors as these type of mass visitors is what Macau needs to sustain itself going forward.
LVS, with almost 10,000 rooms in Macau now and with 4000 more coming online with Parcel 3, The Parisian in 2015, no one else is even close!
As a monthly visitor to Macau for 5yrs now I can attest to the fact that Macau has grown from a sleepy Portuguese fishing village to the largest gambling destination on the globe!
