Boeing (BA) has received an order from Air China for nine 777 aircraft, 20-737s and two 747-8s, the first booking this year for the latter model. The deal is worth $4.8B at list prices, although Air China has received "significant price concessions." Meanwhile, the SEC has ordered Boeing to allow investors to vote on separating the roles of CEO and chairman. Shareholders rejected a plan to split the titles two years ago.
