Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A, RDS.B) considers shutting a 150K bbl/day oil pipeline in Nigeria because so much crude is being stolen. The head of Shell's Nigerian subsidiary says thefts on Nembe Creek Trunkline have been unprecedented in recent weeks, with more than 60K barrels of oil are being stolen a day, resulting in frequent production shutdowns and massive oil spills blighting the ecosystem.

    Is this potentially bad news for Mart Resources, as they are planning to tie into the shell pipeline.
