Harvest Natural Resources (HNR) +10.7% AH in reaction to reports of Hugo Chavez's death. HNR recently had 77% of its assets in Venezuela, which doesn't look likely to change soon after Indonesia's Pertamina recently scrapped its plan to buy HNR's Venezuelan assets.

It's going to be interesting, that's for sure. Seems like anything could happen, assets could be seized or commoditized. This Ramirez fellow who seems to be in charge of vetting oil deals seems like a bad egg.

    You still holding, godalmightee?

I've still got 1/3 of original position. (sold 1/3 up around 10 and 1/3 after deal fell through)

Yes interesting times indeed Pollyserial I still think there worth more than $10 or am I hoping lol, still holding 50%, sold half my holdings at just under $10 so what I have left is virtually a free shot so costing me nothing to see where this goes.

I do try to achieve that goal with all my holdings i.e. NOK, AOL etc. Then I try and be very patient and wait for a nice gain and my portfolio builds up a nice diverse pot over the medium term. Well that's the plan and has served me well in the past.
