Cable companies (CMCSA, CHTR, TWC, CVC) increasingly use their inherent advantage with two-way networks to nab customers from satellite players (DTV, DISH) stuck with a one-way network. When push comes to shove, DirecTV and Dish just can't offer customers the same breadth of video-on-demand content than cable rivals.
